Southern Railway has announced 7 special trains for the Deepavali season. Advance reservations for these special trains have started at 8 PM today.

Here are the list of Diwali special trains :

Special fare special trains between Tambaram and Tirunelveli

Train no 06013 Tambaram – Tirunelveli Suvidha special train starts from Tambaram at 3 PM on November 9.

Train no 82622 Tirunelveli – Tambaram Suvidha special train will start from Tirunelveli at 6.15 PM on November 8.

These trains will have stops at Chengalpet, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Trichy, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Satur and Kovilpatti.

Suvidha special trains between Chennai Central and Coimbatore

Train no 82619 from Chennai Central to Coimbatore will leave Chennai Central at 8.40 PM on November 3.

Train no 82620 from Coimbatore to Chennai Central will start from Coimbatore at 7 PM on November 6.

The trains will have stops at Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpet, Katpadi, Arakkonam and Perambur.

Special fare Special trains between Chennai Central and Coimbatore 

Train no 06017 from Chennai Central to Coimbatore will leave Chennai Central at 8.40 PM on November 5.

Train no 06018 from Coimbatore to Chennai Central will start from Coimbatore at 7 PM on November 6.

The trains will have stops at Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpet, Katpadi, Arakkonam and Perambur.

Ernakulam – Yesvantpur weekly special fare special train 

Train no 06548 Ernakulam – Yesvantpur weekly tatkal special will leave Ernakulam at 3 PM.

This train will be available from October 17 till November 14, offering a total of 5 trips on October 17, 24, 31, November 7 & 14.

The train will have stops at Bangarpet, Tirupattur, Salem, Erode, Tirupur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Ottapalam, Thrissur, Aluva and Ernakulam town in both the directions.
