In yet another applaudable move, Chennai Metro Rail has started free shuttle services from Airport Metro station to Chennai Airport.

The shuttle services are available to both domestic and international terminals and is part of Chennai Metro’s initiatives to provide the last mile connectivity to commuters.

The availability of free shuttle service would encourage more people to take the metro to airport as this ensures hassle free commute. This move is also a blessing to elderly people resorting to Chennai Metro for commute.
