Chennai is finally blessed with the much need rainfall.

Weather bloggers are already reporting rains in North Chennai. The rains are to be accompanied by strong winds. However, only light rains are expected and the weather will soon go back to its hot and humid conditions.

These rains come after a spell of severe hot and humid conditions that had been persistent across Chennai for the past few weeks.
