Chennai Traffic Police have proposed a list of changes on OMR road from Friday, 28th July morning to ease the traffic congestion.

• The service road infront of Tidel Park is currently a bidirectional road used by commuters to reach Tidel Park, Elnet and Ramanujan IT Park. This service road is going to be converted as one way towards Madhya Kailash. The vehicles can take “U” Turn at Madhya Kailash to get to their destination.
• The Right Turn is restricted at the Junction of Ascendas and the vehicles coming from CSIR Road intending to go to SRP Tools is restricted and the same is allowed to ply on OMR towards Tidel Park Signal to take “U” turn and then reach SRP Tools.
• The vehicles coming along OMR from Tidel Park Signal intending to go to CSIR road is restricted and the same is allowed to ply on OMR towards SRP Tools and to take “U” Turn can reach Ascendas and other destinations.
• The L.M.V. vehicles coming from CSIR road and OMR from SRP Tools intending to go to Madhya Kailas Junction can take left turn towards in the Service Road (incoming Direction) in-between Ascendas Junction and Tidel Park Signal towards Madhya Kailas to join OMR Main Carriage way near Ramnujam IT Park towards Madhya Kailas to reach their destination.

“The above said traffic modification is going to be implemented on trial basis for the convenience of the Motorists and Pedestrians and also to avoid traffic congestion in OMR and between Tidel Park and SRP Tools for the interest of the public safety. The vehicles owners, drivers and public are requested to co operate.”, noted Chennai Traffic Police in their facebook post.
